Paris Saint-Germain vs Juventus
League: International Champions Cup
Date: Thursday, 27th July 2017
Time: Kick-off at 1:30 UK/ 2:30 CET
Venue: Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (Florida).
Both Teams look to put the pre-season on track after suffering defeats in their previous match.
PSG lost 4-2 to Tottenham after having an early advantage. They were undone by the brilliance of Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane in the first half. Later, further advantage was handed to the English club with Kevin Trapp receiving red card. The Ligue 1 giants lost to Roma on penalties in the tournament opener. PSG could be seen in action this weekend in their first competitive match of the 2017/18 campaign in the French Super Cup tie against arch rivals AS Monaco.
Juve were outplayed by Neymar in their opening match of the tournament. The Brazilian scored two goals in the first half. Giorgio Chiellini scored in the second half to earn the Old Lady a respectable score-line in the 2-1 defeat. The Serie A giants will play domestic rivals Roma in the final match of the International Champions Cup. Then, they will travel to England to take on Tottenham for a friendly match in Wembley.
With an important competitive fixture on their radar, PSG are expected to rest majority of their key players. This could put their underwhelming defense under further pressure.
Juventus did little wrong in their defeat against Barcelona. And they are expected to get things back to track with plenty of experience available in all departments of play.
