Charleroi vs Anderlecht
League: Belgian Pro League Group stage
Date: Thursday, 18th May 2017
Time: Kick off at 19:30
Venue: Stade du Pays de Charleroi
Charleroi proves in the playoffs that it remains a difficult to disrupt. They have two more days to play in a nice fourth place. Winning the final home game would bring them very close to their goal. Easy will not be because opponent Anderlecht can play championship profit.
Charleroi started well at the game but was not helped. Tainmont took a red card and Charleroi had to play nine-nine minutes with ten men. Five minutes after the red card, they came in for free after Enes Saglik’s free kick. The Carologists reclined and almost did not get over the center line. Central was everything close and opponent Ghent was too miserable. Only by hand came the ball on the dot and could be scored against it. After that goalkeeper Nicolas Penneteau kept his nets clean.
The goalkeeper was the right man of the match. He had received criticism of the past matches. Unjustified because the goalkeeper proved his worth against Ghent. He had some very important rescues in his house and helped his team with ten men to an important point. Thursday they will need him again.
Anderlecht saw the titlesuit being delayed by at least one match. The fans of the fans did not seem to play in the rival field from Bruges champion. It could have penetrated Youri Tielemans’s penalty. But honestly, Anderlecht did not deserve to win at Club. It plowed back massively through the stress. This title is still available on Charleroi.
Anderlecht almost never came out of his hedgehog. For an hour, it did nothing but defend. Even counters were not thought of. It was headed by a free kick by Sofiane Hanni. The first goal, by the way, this season through a direct free kick. It also swallowed a free kick goal, making it a draw for a draw. Anderlecht created more opportunities with the contribution of Lukasz teodorczyk. Franckie Acheampong finally found his good rhythm and made a penalty. That was missed and so the race went to its end. The struggle was violent, the division of points right.
Anderlecht should be better off playing football or walking in Charleroi in the knife. It has the football players to play dominantly. Players like Hanni and Tielemans belong to football at half of the opponent. This way they can create more chances and finally the endless goal of Teodorczyk will be put to an end.
